Respectable Ladies and Gentlemen,
Before us
are three traditionally specialized international tourist and
cultural manifestations:

Three, already traditional, specialized international tourist and
cultural manifestations are in front of us: 17th
INTERSTAS/European
Club of Merited in Tourism, 13th
ITF’CRO, and
9th AEFP/EFE-CRO
–
presentation of Croatian candidates for “Entente Florale Europe – Golden flower of Europe”. During the past few years,
manifestations have built respectful position as an important
business, tourist and cultural event. They are held in the very
convenient autumn period, from 13th to 16th
October 2010, in Split,
Croatia, under
the high patronage of the President of the Republic of
Croatia, Mr.
Stjepan Mesić.
These, already traditional, internationally orientated
manifestations, INTERSTAS, ITF‘CRO and KEA/Entente Florale Europe - CRO, members and partners
of world associations for traveling, tourism film and journalism;
CIFFT, FEST, FIJET, AEFP, have gained reputation of very dynamic and
important manifestation in the scope of tourism, tourism film,
ecology and sustainable development in this region. With its
reputation and organization, they actively contribute to the faster
growth of the world traveling markets, and are becoming respectable
factor of the international tourism traffic, with very rich and
creative additional activities.
17th INTERSTAS 2010, since
2004. has left the fair conception till then, and on the initiative
of F.E.S.T., European Federation of Tourist Journalists with
headquarters in Rome, Italy, and by the decision of the Board of
Directors and the manifestation Council, it has become the
headquarters of “European Club of Merited in Tourism”. In this new
INTERSTAS business conception, with the accredited national and
international business visitors, within the exhibit area, are
presenting (exclusively) the Exhibitors nominated for the
prestigious international awards; INTERSTAS certificate, F.E.S.T.
charter “Merits in Tourism”, and the nominated towns and villages,
candidates for the AEFP/Entente Florale
Europe – Golden Flower of Europe award, which is awarded by the by
the AEFP/ European Association for Flowers and Landscaping from
Bruxelles. In two business days (Thursday
and Friday), with meetings and establishing new partnerships,
special attention is given to the presentation of the services for
and in tourism, ecological projects, sustainable
development.
On
13th ITF’CRO 2010 / International Tourism and
Ecology Film Festival, this year are expecting to have around 50 countries participating
with over 160 applied tourist, travel-documentaries, cultural,
historical and ecological films. They compete for one of the
Festival awards and Grand Prix of Festival. The best Croatian
“National
tourist film” will be
awarded with highly respectable Festival award named “Baldo Čupić”,
established in 2002. in remembrance of the
deceased, of one of the most awarded author at our Festival and
world wide Tourism Film Festivals, members of CIFFT.
9th
K.E.A./EFE – CRO/Landscaping European Association – Croatia, will be
presentation of Croatian cities, villages, and centers, for GOLDEN
FLOWER OF EUROPE '2010, and special award „dr. Lucija Čikeš“, as a
part of the project „Croatia - With
flowers in United Europe”, as a full member of A.E.F.P./ EFE – European Association for flowers and
landscape, Bruxelles, Belgium.
Special awards will be handed in by the leaders of the world
journalism, film festival and tourism associations, F.E.S.T.,
F.I.J.E.T. and A.E.F.P./Entente Florale
Europe, on the final ceremony, on Friday, October 15th
2010., together with INTERSTAS
certificates. Highly prestigious international tourist F.E.S.T.
recognitions will be handed in to meritorious individuals, companies
and organizations “Merited
in Tourism” and
“Contribution
to the development of Tourism”, for their
contribution and activities in development of tourism at different
levels. Also, official nominations for the European award “Entente
Florale Europe – Golden Flower of
Europe’2010” and
special award “dr.
Lucija Čikeš”
This
multimedia project in sector of tourism, culture, sustainable
development and cinematography, is creating an opportunity for
making contacts that normally are not possible to be done. With its
program, including the traditional 17th Tourist Forum,
exhibition of tourist photography and tourist design and attractive
trips for accredited participants, project is attracting more and
more domestic and international participants, business visitors,
interested for business in Croatia, which is becoming more
important tourism market of the regional surrounding, especially in
the Central Europe and Mediterranean countries
