13th International Tourfilm and ecology Festival ITF'CRO 2010

WINNERS: "CROATIAN GOLDEN INTERSTAS 2010", KEA/EFE - CRO 2010 CERTIFICATE IN NOMINATION FOR GOLDEN FLOWER OF EUROPE 2011, GOLDEN INTERSTAS 2010,F.E.S.T CHART 2010, FESTIVAL PRIZES AND GRAND-PRIX - ITF'CRO 2010.
- three international, cultural and tourism manifestations: 17th INTERSTAS / International fair of tourism, movie and landscape,13th ITF`CRO / International tourfilm and ecology festival, and9th KEA/EFE - CRO / Presentation of Croatian cities and village candidates for GOLDEN FLOWER OF EUROPE, will be held 13th - 16th of October 2010 in hotel President Solin under high sponsorship of President of Rrepublic, Mr. Ivo JOSIPOVIĆ, and President of Government, Mrs. Jadranka KOSOR.
Out of 93 proposed candidates; individuals, companies, organizations on 17th INTERSTAS, 38 of them from Austria, BIH, Croatia, Italy, Macedonia and Slovenia were chosen as laureates, thanks to their interesting projects and programs, as well as their tourism offer and presentation. They have been awarded with one of the most prestige tourism awards GOLDEN INTERSTAS and F.E.S.T. Chart.Out of the total arrived and viewed 152 tourism, travel, documentary, cultural-historic, ecology movies from 47 countries around the world, to the 13th ITF`CRO 2010 / International tourfilm and ecology festival, from all continents, 35 of them were nominated for one of the festival awards, and Grand Prix - 13th ITF`CRO.
Certificate - for nominated Croatian candidate for GOLDEN FLOWER OF EUROPE 2011, GOLDEN INTERSTAS 2010 and F.E.S.T. Chart 2010 will be personally awarded by Mr. Antonio CONTE, FEST President / European Federation of tourism journalists together with City of Solin representatives, and Vojko PLEŠTINA, President of management Fiscalis and Manifestation general director on Award giving ceremony in hotel "President Solin", on Friday, 15th of October of 2010.
With International festival jury which will award Festival prizes and Grand-prix 13th ITF'CRO 2010, committee of INTERSTAS, KEA/EFE-CRO and F.E.S.T. Chart, based on arrived nominations and explanation for every individual and organization, and which will be presented within 17th INTERSTAS 2010, according to proposition about prize awarding, decided to award later mentioned prestige international tourism prizes. Nominations are explained with great quality of work, great creativity and separate contribution of individuals and organizations, which trough their professional, expert, scientific and practical work activities promote tourist offer and thereby contributing tourism development. Therefore board decided that explanations of individual nominations, as well as their former splendid creative and eventful appearances with high quality tourist programmes and offer, is the right way and guarantee of future tourism development, what certainly contributes to a better quality and prosperity of life, and thereby justifiability confirmation awarding these prizes.

THE EVALUATION COURT of 13th International tourfilm and ecology Festival comprised of:

Of the total arrived and viewed152 filmsfrom 47 countriesaround the world, from all continents,35 films were nominated for one of the festival awards, including 17 fromCroatia in national movies categoryand 18 movies from other countries. All movies are represented in the media, DVD.
Outside the competition, the Authority FESTIVAL has given several special acknowledgements to movies that did not meet the prescribed Festival norms, but by their quality and themes were rated as extremely high-quality films. The word is about 3 movies from Slovenia, Ireland and Mexico. This year too, for the ninth time, the most prestigious Croatian national award "BALDO ČUPIĆ", will beassigned to the best Croatian national tourist film.
From the last year, the festival has introduced a new category of the competition ecology-tourism promotional films. In this category titled as "With flowers in a common Europe" compete only European Association of flowers and landscapes member countries, whose permanent member is also Croatia from the year 2003.
Considering the wealth of forms and genres, an international jury found that the total Croatian production indirect and direct tourfilm, in its quality significantly progresses. There are significant shifts in quality at the local Croatian authors of individual achievements, and it was shown that the orientation and visual identity, as well as the general impression of the quality of individual author's achievements enhanced, what will certainly contribute to more quality promotion, and overall impression of Croatian tourism abroad. In comparison to the previous Festivals, a new quality was noticed in more contemporary film with the phrase authors and their individual achievements from Croatia, although it is still seen voluntary customers in the choice of performers, insufficient strategic marketing concept on a higher level, and support of tourist associations leader tourist institutions, especially support of the head national tourism institution.
In genre of documentary-itinerary, cultural, historical, ethnic and ecological, film, especially films produced by the Croatian Television, as well as the private Croatian producers house, this year as well has been noticed appreciable improvement in quality as well as invention, and the selection of themes. This contributes improving the quality of general, tourist, and especially cultural historic, and ecologic presentation of Croatia in the world, what jury holds very important, in recognition of Croatian tourist and cultural product in the world.
At other foreign production, it's particulary important to emphasize the exquisite production expecialy Italy and Austria, then Malaysia, Spain and Poland. Foreign countries movie offer is almost entirely on a high level, which reflects the wealth, professionalism and the creative freedom of author's revolve.
